Description:

Aufwind: (noun, German) an upward current of air, updraft.

Adequate preparation is essential for a secure, relaxing, enjoyable, and productive cross-country flight. Collate all pertinent information such as airspaces, NOTAMs, waypoints, and weather on the map to craft your daily task using the intuitive visual task planner.

Export the task as a CUP file onto an SD card or email it to yourself, then upload it onto your flight computer (LX, Oudie, and others) or XCSoar.

Soaring Weather: Aufwind features critical soaring forecasts pre-installed such as thermal strength, cumulus cloudbase, rain, and wind. For in-depth soaring forecasts, log in with your SkySight account via the app.

Task Planner: Construct your daily task interactively on the map overlaying weather forecasts, airspaces, and other pertinent data. While thousands of waypoints are readily available in Aufwind, you can also import your own.

Airspaces &amp; NOTAMs: Stay updated on local airspaces and NOTAMs to heighten flight safety. Aufwind already encompasses airspaces for numerous countries; additionally, you can import your airspace files in OpenAir format.

Aufwind is free to download and employ; however, certain features necessitate a valid subscription.

If opting for the Aufwind Pro Subscription, payment will be charged to your Apple ID account upon purchase confirmation or completion of the free trial period if available.

Your Aufwind Pro Subscription automatically renews unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends. The subscription is provided on a yearly basis with pricing per period displayed for all subscription options within the app.

The Aufwind Pro Subscription affords you the capability to overlay weather data on the map for both pre-installed weather and SkySight forecast (with SkySight account login).

You can manage and discontinue subscriptions by accessing your account settings on the App Store post-purchase.

Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited upon subscription purchase.
